By beholding we become changed. Doug Batchelor examines Isaiah’s life-altering vision and shares intriguing stories from his own life to reveal the seven essential steps to salvation. If you aren’t sure of your salvation, you need this book!
The prophet Isaiah knew this simple but profound truth. He had seen the Lord—and then saw himself in contrast. It radically and permanently changed his life. What he saw can change your life too!
In nine short verses that begin the sixth chapter of Isaiah, we find a clear and certain pathway to knowing and loving God. Author and evangelist Doug Batchelor uses Isaiah's life-altering vision and intriguing stories from his own extraordinary life to reveal the seven essential steps to salvation and true conversion.
In this delightful and unique little book, a companion to his autobiography, The Richest Caveman, Pastor Doug winsomely leads you along each step in the process of knowing and loving God, helping you discover your deep need of Jesus and His unrelenting power to save.
This is not dry theology; it is living vignettes of faith that make salvation precious, accessible, and intensely real. The encounter that awaits you will swell your heart with gratitude and cause your lips to cry out, "My eyes have seen the King!"

Remarkable
God uses one persons life story to bless another.
more believable than "just believe"
The Jesus did it all, you don't do anything philosophy is circulating in our church. Something is missing from that, possibly the looking at Jesus first part; not sure. We're told it takes everything we have to attain the promised salvation, possibly because we want to be wafted to heaven on beds of ease, even though Jesus and our Father expended everything they had to make the gift available to us. Makes sense for us to expend everything we are and have to accept the gift and make it ours.
Thank you Pastor Doug!
This book answers the wonderings concerning HOW to know for certain if you are accepting Jesus personally, and that you aren't "going blind". I have had the question/concern arise in my mind many times, but this is the cause of one thing: Not knowing and trusting God as I really should. Don't obey to BE saved, because you ARE saved- and so this means that since you ARE saved, put away your life of sin and live the life that Jesus paid for you to live. However, don't forget that Jesus wants to be with you and you with Him.
I haven't read my book yet!
I haven't had a chance to read my book but hear from those who have that it is very good. The price was right and the service good as usual.
