Very good information based on God’s Word. Much emphasis on sanctity of marriage and negative results of divorce. Very good principles regarding how the local church should handle divorce and remarriage. God’s can forgive but consequences are not thereby removed. Full of practical counsel, Biblical applications, no dilution of God’s Word, and hope for the repentant sinner.

What the bible has to say about Marriage
This book answered many questions that I had concerning the three subjects that our society faces in our everyday lives; marriage, divorce and remarriage. Personally I find that our society today takes both marriage and divorce too lightly. These are very serious subjects according to the bible and this book sets the record straight!
A must read for counselors!!
Most Church's hide under the rug the "issues" with divorce folks. They don't want to deal with the sticky situations of Marriage of divorcees and Divorce. I found the right Bible quotes to use when counseling members on these issues. D.B's at his best for sure!!

I had a question about being married to someone's whose spouse is still living. How you can ask for forgiveness when you are still married to them. It answered that question as well as it can be answered. It gave me a sigh of relief. I liked the book

Help for a good, lasting marriage
My husband and I are scheduled to present a talk about the 7th commandment. This book has given us more "punch" in presenting God's ideas for a meaningful and lasting marriage.
Wonderfully woven guide to Marriage!
Received the book in short order. I am a newlywed and need all the help possible! I haven't finished reading but I am enjoying and learning from what I have thus far read! Don't really know if I will be compensated for the review. It is not necessary...just get the book if you are serious about maintaining a good marriage.
